Bucks Cockroach Control and Pest Control Solutions
Cockroaches transmit diseases harmful to humans and as such they represent a significant health hazard, particularly when present in food preparation areas. They can provoke an allergic response in some people.
In general, Cockroaches prefer a warm, dark and humid environment in which to live. They are most active at night; during the day they will take refuge in dark spaces, often surprisingly small. They are capable of flying short distances although seldom do so.
How Do You Know If You Have Cockroaches?
Cockroaches are beetle-like and tend to scurry very quickly when exposed to light. They have distinctive long antennae.
Cockroaches often go unnoticed in the early stages of an infestation, however they breed very quickly and if left undisturbed will be present in large numbers in a short time. There are different species of Cockroach and correct identification is essential if a successful treatment is to be undertaken.
There are a number of insecticides available to professional pest controllers that prove very effective against Cockroaches, when applied correctly. Do-it-yourself treatment of a cockroach infestation is unlikely to succeed.
